There's no need to restart. You can continue the game with the temple priests hostile to you. However there'll be one that won't hostile to you. The serpent coins will have a chance to drop when you kill any serpent priest. [/QUOTE]You're absolutely correct, Kakero. It is not a mandatory restart moment. However, I've found that it's much easier to buy the serpin coins from friendly priests than it is to hope they drop them when they die, or to try to pickpocket them during a battle. If you buy them, almost 100% of the priests will have coins for sale. If you pickpocket, and you're good, you'll get close to the same number (possibly more, since you're also picking the dowry priests). If you're a poor pickpocketer, though, you'll get much less. And if you wait to see if they drop it when they die, the percentage goes down further. Since I needed to come up with 60 serpin coins, I took the sure route. It's much easier... by far.
