What's with this Bonus CD?

I swear that was a really cheap move on the part of the game developer. It's impossible to get the collectors edition at a retail outlet because all the stores have around here are the non-collectors editions. Does anyone have the files that are needed to get the extra items and characters available for download?

You know that Black Isle has received so many complaints about their Bonus CD and Collector's edition that they have made them available for sale again. LOL. Jeez. Talk about wanting to make a buck. If they really wanted to appease these customers, they could make it available for download on their website, rather than make you buy the game again.

I don't know about you but I personnally find the bonus CD a waist of time. There are only a few good magical items and thats it. I bought the collectors edition game in the store and I feel ripped off.

Yes, I agree with you. I bought the collector's edition and didn't really notice much difference from anyone else's game. Then I went out and bought the bonus CD from someone on e-Bay and was even more peeved when I installed it and still didn't see anything different. Yes, they do have the two new merchants and a couple extra soundtracks, but was it truly worth the difference that I paid for it. You can d/l those files on the web now, but not from Black Isle. And that's why I made that statement. If they don't really give you that much, why can't they just make it available for download. At least you won't feel ripped off. I'd rather use Shadow Cheater to enable the stuff rather than paying for the two CD's like I did.
