Hey - no it's not Wiz 9, but this one also carries as much nostalgia for me as the Wizardry series does - some people have been working on a game that goes back to the "Bard's Tale" series, the site is here:
http://www.bardslegacy.com/main.html It's not out yet but I know at least one Dwarf who is going to trade in some mithral when it comes out and get a copy!

kinda look strange. but graphic is tolerable. since it's a First Person RPG. I may give it a try.
