I can confirm that they go down to at least 866!

But he only beat Mark Philipwhosits?!

Completely missed that Solomon Islands thinghy - )make mental note - pay more attention to obscure World Cup qualifiers)

The cynic in me is suggesting the Aussies are trying to make it look as if Oceania is a competitive group in order to get an automatic qualifying place in future competitions.

A nice point - that last one you made Donut. Yes, direct qualification looks to be called for nowfrom the tough Oceania group. Let the last placed European lucky loser play against the 5th placed South American team.

I didn't expect you to get it first time Memsie- it was subtitle pitched at Donut and Lanesra . Mind you, when I made it clear it was a national embarassment, eliminated 2 out of 4 football codes for you, and threw in the allusion to aggrieved Kiwi's I expected better from you and Wellard and Skip .

Is this what Aussie soccer is about - lying down to teams like the Solomon Islands to eliminate their main opposition (New Zealand) from the World Cup?
LOL I would never have thought about throwing the game Davros. But it would explain an otherwise embarrising 2-2 draw. Australia would not do something like that now would it? Not to New Zealand?
