I see the Doc in 2 weeks for another follow-up, but just wondering.. Anyone here that has had surgery for something, how long did it take to heal completely?
It's been 4 weeks now, and all the cuts are gone, and I see what looks to be white scar tissue that is red around the edges and the ear is beginning to shape itself now. Almost back to normal, but just wondered how long till it's DONE! How long did it take you to heal (ie healed completely). 6-8 weeks? or longer? Prolly depends on the surgery and area. lemme know anyway

As well as the area it also depends on how healthy the person is, like if they have enough iron in their blood to heal quickly etc.
I had surgery to get my gall bladder out but it wasn't a big cut was only four small cuts for all the equipment to get the gall bladder out... but yet it took me about 3 or 4 months to heal properly because I was rather unhealthy.

What Lauren says is true...Your health will drive the healing. I had a Health class at UNCG a few years ago that said that there are 6 types of health.
Physical Emotional Psychological Cognitive Social Spritual (not limited to religion)
