Question Mark

Any ideas on how to destroy the fire giant in the watchers keep. I have tried opening and shutting various doors but have had no luck keeping the old boy damaged, alone putting him down?

In order to hurt him you first need to kill his little 'helpers' - the Fire Elementals. If you'll read the various noted carefully, you'll see that in order to kill them, you must lure them into the Cold room, where they are vulnerable.

After all the Fire Elementals are slain you can proceed by killing the Giant.

Thanks Alson- but what I find is that the pool spawns more and more elementals - before I can get the giant off his feet.

The Elementals only respawn if you kill them 'normally'.

If you lure them to the Cold room, however, they will freeze. If you kill them while in their frozen form, they won't respawn.

Read the notes carefully next time!

I have never let them freeze in the cold room - I just killed them. Will give the freeze tactic a try

Its the only way .. search the rooms for documentation to help you.
The wizards left notes that give the information you need.
