Re: Gary Gygax, 1938-2008
Penny Arcade posted this image. Kinda nice, with the tear. Rolling part is a bit funny.. a bit tacky.. This man truly created some amazing game system, and allowed us to dream of places far off in another land, where evil is always bested. He'll be missed.

Re: Gary Gygax, 1938-2008
Heh, I too use a crown royal bag. Without this man.. well, Ironworks wouldn't exist really. Think about it. Ironworks began as just a Baldur's Gate 1 webpage. (TSR--AD&D). So he played a part in many peoples lives. I know he made my imagination grow more than it would have without AD&D--I remember the first AD&D Game--it was on the Intellivision I think.. Just a low res cartridge game, but MAN... we were so into it.. That was back when you have to use your imagination... (This is why games today suck. Nothing left to imaginative with real-world graphics... SOME games like Arx Fatalis and other good RPGs with stories DO indeed succeed though)
