How to equip different classes

What is your favorite equipment, armor, weapons etc... for each of the classes fighter, mage thief etc...

i've used the monk the first time and i just put a ioun stone on his head, that neclace to prevent level drain (cause monks depend on their level) and ring of regenaration. i also put girlde of some giant to boost my strenght and finaly my +3 fist to fight.

well this will take some time so I will just list my favourite equipment for my ranger:-

Drow Admantine Chain +5 armour
Black Razor long sword in main hand, Equaliser in off hand
and Mana Bow.
Vahilor's Helm
Girldle of Frost Giant Strength or Belt of inertial Barrier
Bracers of Blinding strike
Ring of KanGaxx and Ring of Free Action
Boots of Speed
Cloak of Mirrioring
Amulet of Power
