need romancing advice with Aerie (spoiler kind of)

Okay, I am at the point in the game when Aerie asks you to share her blanket...I am wondering if there is anyway to keep romancing her without sleeping with her?? Or must i do keep the romance going.

Save your game, try it one way, then try it another. Or you can think of how much you know about Aerie, and what she might want/need in this situation, and choose.

You might want to check me on this, but I think sleeping with Aerie is the WRONG way to continue the romance. Check at Sorcerer's Place, they have a wonderful romance spoiler that includes complete dialog scripts for all romances. Ask me if you want, and I'll search it for what to do w/ Aerie in this situation.

yes, well i did try both ways...i didn't and the romance ending. I did and the romance continues...but i didn't make my character do it right away. I chose like you do know what love is and then i let my character give in...i did put a different save on that though...i will check out the sorcer's place or whatever, as once as i find it.

My character slept with Aerie and the romance kept going through the whole game, she even got pregnant...at least that's what she said...she could just as well fool me like the woman in the Temple district in Athkatla...

Yes, that's true. But I thought sleeping with Aerie in SoA would cause her to end the romance. She even says after you decline that she was actually afraid/nervous to sleep with a man.

Okay, here's what happens:

Sleeping with Aerie doesn't terminate the romance. BUT, Bioware coded the morning-after dialogue in such a way that if you didn't do the HD love triangle to completion, there's only one way to get the romance to continue in TOB--one of the four dialogue choices, and it's not terribly intuitive.

I consider this a bug, so the flirt pack patches that morning after so that the romance goes to Active=2 regardless and continues in TOB. It simply strikes me as unlikely that they really meant to do what they did.

(The HD love triangle actually sets Active=2 EARLIER in the romance.)
