Me? Nope, not once. Well, almost once. I was playing a cheesy free online game called vagabond's quest. I had a tendency to bait people into "heated discussions". It always worked, and the other guy always seemed to get into trouble. Finally a GameOp told me to cut it out or be banned.

Um...once. And I got banned from a fangirl board by correcting all their movieverse references to Lord of the Rings.

I lost count of the number of times I explained, carefully, that Arwen's sparkly necklace was NOT her immortality preserved in a gem. Do you think elves are that stupid?

I think I was banned from the very same place Cloudy mentioned at some point, actually after an effort to keep the peace (!) on a few occasions, trying to tone down certain lynch mob sentiments. Guess I was simply the wrong pacifist at the wrong time at the wrong forum...

Groj, most of us who were banned there (several of us were even mods) considered it a badge of honor after all that mess and our efforts to help being turned against us.

I dunno, I got banned once from a Freespace 2 forum for pissing of a mod who was just so convinced that an Erinyes fighter was the best ship out there he actually blamed me for cheating after I took him out with my Pegasus and banned me for it. I still shake my head every time I remember that...
