I am in the first layer of the Creator's Ruins under the caves north of Port Llast, I've gotten past the guardian golem and the door won't let me through without the proper key. I've searched everywhere for it on this level, but it's not here. ???????????????????????????

You didn't kill the Guardian Golem did you? Because at the first level I remembered talking to the Golem and showing him a singlet ring and he opened the door for me.
