Threw all switches.....killed crabs........but, my party cannot get into the tunnel leading down to the 2nd tablet..........I tried looking down..looking straight...and so on, but my characters seem to be hitting the raised part...preventing me from entering. Tried moving the switch again, but "switch doesn't work" message....banged my head on every square of the blasted area and still cannot enter...my party is as low as they can get to the floor...still no entering....glitch or me...........?? searched, but nobody seems to have had this problem.......gotta be me.........any thoughts?????
thanks

I seem to have heard of that problem before. I think it occurs when either your party or someone else takes damage when the crab cage comes up - and in that sequence does not come all the way up, but I suppose it could also happen by chance. My suggestion is that you try reloading, unless you want to try vanishing down there (be sure to leave a portal outside the cage).

If it is so then leaving and reentering Collasium might help as well. This kind of action usually fixes half open doors and similar problems. Therefore:

1. If you have a portal at the entrance to Collasium then teleport to it. Otherwise, set a portal near the cages and go to the entrance.
2. Leave Collasium, turn back, enter Collasium.
3. Teleport or go back to the cages and try again.

Yes, this has happened to others (grrrr) - very frustrating.

Leaving and coming back in to Collasium might help.

Vanish might work.

Reloading a save from before Collasium might help.

I think I have the codes around here for the tablets.

Have you tried the pixie trick of putting your smallest character in the front? That might help... maybe.

And while we are at that, you might try to change your screen resolution. It has been known to help in similar situations.

Cool! I'm always glad to see someone get further in the game

And I agree on the zenmasters -- they come way too late to be useful for this game. They're there for the next one... along with the valkyries.
