OK Animal! You have to have a digital picture - either a scanned one or one uploaded from a digital camera. Then you have to put it up on a website. If you don't have one, you can sign up for a free account here: http://www.villagephotos.com/ and follow the intructions to upload a picture.

Then you post here, using the web address of your photo, with {IMG} before the address and {/IMG} after it (but using this type of bracket [] - instead of {} )

A 58 Caddy Coupe de Ville!!! The trick is to buy a project. That's what I did with my vette and GTO. The vette took 7 years, the GTO's not quite done yet, but close. House or car? That's a tough call but I'd probably go with the house just make sure it's got a garage so you can fix up your caddy!

Congratulations! I hope you have a good time!
It seems the most important tips have been covered (esp that rear-view mirror one lol) and I'd only be repeating others when I say just relax, be yourself and have a good time.
I am really stoked that this girl is going out with you without knowing about the other cars or the fact that you clean up well
She sounds like she has heart and I wish you the best of luck with future dates with her.

Nice ride btw! What are you doing next weekend?

Oh feck, I just drooled on my keyboard. That is one heck of a car Animal! And my favourite colour

The caddy I would like to buy is £20000 (about $30000) but is in showroom condition, 1 careful owner! It really does come down to whether I want the car or a roof over my head. I was considering renting an apartment so I could use the profit from selling my apartment to buy the car, but rentals are so expensive, I don't think I can afford it

EDITING: Just to say I keep looking at that pic and your car is fecking gorgeous. I think I'm in love with it, can I date your car please? I promise to bring her home by midnight and of course I'll treat her with respect

Nice car dude. :uhhuh:

As for your date; be yourself, have fun and above all, be happy - if you're happy then it'll make it hard for her not to be - happiness is contagious y'know

Epona,

just buy an unrestored caddy and fix it up. You'll have much more pride in the car if you did the work yourself. The vette only gets insured for about 3 months a year (in the summer) and driven maybe 500 miles a year. Go for the house, and grab yourself a car to fix up. Start with something simple to learn on and go from there.

Well, better go get ready. Thanks for the kind words everyone, you guys are the coolest!

Yeah, you're right, actually I love fixing up cars! I used to have what we call here in England an 'old banger' and was always working on it. I can't understand people that pay a fortune to drop their car in for repairs, half the fun is the joy and pride of doing it yourself.

Speaking of 'Old Bangers,' I wouldn't mind getting an old MG midget or Triumph TR6! Gotta have the right hand drive though for the coolness factor.
