Can someone please tell me how to remove items from my toolbar on the bottom of the screen (next to the time). I know I am sounding like a computer illiterate moron here, but I have tried everyway that I know and they still come up when I boot up my computer! It really gets annoying having to shut them down everytime I want to play BGII!!!

Thank you

Some you can just right click on them and shut them down...others you have to use the "run" feature on your start menu and type in msconfig
From there, click on the startup tab and shut down whatever you want other than scanreg, systray, taskmon, and your power profile or any other ops needed to run Windows.

Hmmm....difficult without seeing exactly what you have there!. Try control+alt+delete and see what progs are running. Then if you can identify which ones you don't want to load at startup, disable them by running "msconfig" (without quotes) via the start -> run menu.

Hope this helps (or at least points you in the right direction )

Thanks fopr the help. I was wondering also on how to do this. I had stuff I did not want to load on startup either. So now I have fixed this.
