Hey all, I've been replaying this game and had a character die and lost all the equipment he was carrying (aside from his teeth), including the Tome of Pestilent Thought and the Bronze Sphere, I have no idea where they are, and it's even possible they were lost in the Modron Maze (with help from a maze reset), so I got Near-Infinity and have tinkered a bit with some basic info, but I haven't figured out how to place those two items back in the inventory of any of my party. It seems a shame that two irreplaceable items were lost so simply and stupidly. So is there hope other than a restart? and if so, how do I go about doing it.

The easiest way to use NI to reinstate those items would be to replace two existing junk items. You'll need to open .. let me see .. the .chr file? I havent done this in so long I forget the details. IESDP has the file formats though, so you should be able to figure it out.
