Well, we would always stand up together against this one person who continually fought us on every decision we made, about anything. This person is an absolute control freak, and a rather scheming, vindictive, nasty person.
Now I have to stand up to this person alone... Oh well, I'll cope somehow. So far no serious problems, so hopefully it will stay that way. I am also touched that you consider me to be cyber family. |

Aargh. Going away on a field trip soon, not much looking forward to it.
How is everyone?

What kind of field trip?
Pretty decent on this end. Toasty hot day, I don't think I drank enough water, but I'll survive.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Wolfrider.
Just another Sunday here today- sunny and nice for a change though! We just got back from lunch with some friends. They're expecting their 3rd child next spring... very exciting! Ugh.. I don't want to go back to work tomorrow...can we declare it a 7 day weekend?

Re: Cloudy's Cafe, a conversation zone, August 17, 2009
Another three of my friends are now partnered. What's happening to the world?
My friend is getting a knee reconstruction next week (she also happens to be one of the ones who is recently partnered). She isn't allowed to do anything phyical for at least a week. Eww, field trip. I feel for you, Dragonshadow. Hope you're all ok. Last edited by Wolf Rider2; 09-01-2009 at 04:56 AM. |

My condolences, WolfRider. It's never easy, and when it's someone who's been a good support... well, it is even harder. My thoughts are with you.
DS, enjoy the field trip... somehow. Where are you heading, and what will you be doing? Finished up my last round of camping for the summer, and was cut short by mother nature. I measured over an inch of rain Friday night to Saturday morning, and it wasn't looking any better... so we went home. Had a great time anyway Now the tent's put away, the gear is cleaned and stashed, and we're getting ready for school to start. FREEDOM!!!!!!!

We were hit with over 3" on the weekend, thanks to Danny. We were spared from flooding in our area at least.

Re: Cloudy's Cafe, a conversation zone, August 17, 2009
Good to see you, Lady Z, and either condolences or congrats on the impending divorce, whichever is appropriate. I'll let you decide
Not sure how much we got in total, Variol, but I know I packed some of it away in the tent as it was rolled up in the rain. Not a lot of fun, that I've been impacted by two hurricanes that I recall, Floyd and Katrina. Both made my travelling life difficult... one of the joys about being in Michigan is that if a hurricane ever hits here, Florida and Georgia are going to be *gone*.
