You know well, he was referring simply to abuse of powers. But I have to agree, there is no comparison here.

I concur. Even our worst politicians, regardless of your definition of "worst", were not as bad as the typical warlord/dictator.

Dividing the nation. Ruining the middle class. Walking out of talks. Running a tab for alcoholic beverages while flying on official business and claiming it for expenses back to the GAO. Dereliction of duty. Using political passage to avert DUI. Having a state funded employee as driver to prevent yet another drunk driving incident. $17,000 for entertainment system used in private chambers. And on it goes. Not much difference really, if you know where to look.

The real difference is we willingly pay these people to do these kinds of things, and call it democracy.

And that's just what Glenn Beck did.

That said, during Bush we discovered the US does torture people. Not sure about burning their faces.

Strange, I didn't know Gaddafi's wife was a politician, or Gaddafi for that matter. It's a HUUUUUUUUGGGGGGEEEEEEE stretch of a comparison.

Hey we didn't torture. Merely "enhanced" interrogation. Gave it highlights, accessories, and stuff.

You being an outsider looking in, knows just exactly what that means.

Some brilliant minds fail to comprehend something close and dear to them...
