What a wacko! Its because of people like that I own a very nasty rifle. Although calling the police was definitly the way to go!!!! I'd do the same thing if I caught someone killing the rabbit family living uner my deck in the backyard. And I hope its a felony so he cant own firearms (legally anyway) ANYMORE!!!

You did the right thing! People who shoot defensless animals for fun deserve to be turned in! I hope, as others have said, that he is kept from owning guns legally now. You did the right thing Conan. Squirrels are cute little things. I have a corn feeder in my yard and put nuts out there for them all the time.
