Does anyone know if the two new online RPGs that are in the works, which are NWN(NeverWinterNights) and DAoC(DarkAgeofCamelot) are going to be another couple of damn pay-per-play games?

NWN isn't going to be. Black isle is encouraging everyone to put up their own servers with their own creations. They want their fans to help make the game better and bigger. Very ambitious and cool of them imho.

Now, if only we could persuade black isle to talk to some of the other rat bastard game makers who want to sodomize their fans!

I imagine that NWN will have the same play options as BG2; that is, IPX/IP gaming as well as "pay per play". Can't say about DAoC.
