This is the car of my dreams !
Seriously, when I was a student, I had successively three 2CVs, and this is the car I have been happier with. Funny to look at, funny to drive - even the brakedowns were funny ! Once in college I had an exam at 2 PM , and the bar of the wheel broke at 1 PM ... I arrived to the exam room 1 hour late, bringing the wheel with me to prove I was not lying - and they gave me 1 extra hour to finish the test, and I made all the students laugh. Wish I had a 2CV again ...

hehe, those cars are funny lookin'
don't seem any of them in Australia, but when I do, they certainly stand out. I personally am right into cars... there's nothing quite as fun as driving my 1971 datsun 1600 I don't have an online picture of it at the moment so I can't show anyone. But its a nice old car to drive, and not too expensive with my low budget. Did I mention it was fun?

Yorick
this post really Upset me. before leading people to sites such as this you should warn them. You have been around IW long enough to realise that peoples souls are easily damaged. Motorbikers the world over are extremly allergic to such things, often resulting in road rash or even worse whenever coming into contact with them. even the mere sight of a VD (volvo driver) can raise the blood pressure to a point beyond boiling. please add a goverment health warning to your thread title or face the wrath of the B.R.A.V.E. (bikers revolting against v#$@o eggheads) brotherhood.

Despite the fact that it's a volvo, it screams 'i'm a yuppie and need a big ass 4wd to reflect my status even though i'm never gonna take it off road'. I feel sorry for cars that never get driven to their potential. I don't feel sorry for Volvo drivers though. Die Yuppie Scum!!
Not at all like my dear datsun 200b. The most fun i've ever had in a car. This baby was as gutless as they come but, with a little well-timed braking and shifting of balance, could be driven in a straight line down a dirt road whilst constantly turning 90 degrees to either side. I miss that car. I might have to dig up some old pictures of the viking funeral we gave her. She was a die hard machine.
