LOL! Hiram, I have set my pants to flood control. I wear high water looking ones that people really notice. A nice set of hip boots under those really screams fashion alert.

In other words-- it's free, shad-ap!

Donations always help, I would LOVE to actually have my OWN full server running there. Right now, I have some parts added to his PC to help out--HD, Ram and Nic Card, but the MB and Processor and case and stuff are his. What we REALLY need to do is raise like $3000 this year and buy our OWN server (100% ours) and have a P4 or Athlon 1900 in there with 512MB ram, THEN, we can remove flood control and everything will be fine.

It's not so much bandwidth either--it's processor usage. We use nearly 100% of it (heheh busy!) and his server apps that control his dial-up customers cannot log in because there is no processor power LEFT! lol. so yeah, shit man, we have 5000+ users, if every user game 1 dollar, we could have a MAJOR server. like a dual P4 933 Xeon, with 1 gig ram and all that.. drool!

Have you considered pop-ups?
Or maybe you can't put 'em in, I have no idea how it works
But with 5000 members, I'm sure you could get SOME sort of commercial..

If you had a dedicated server, what would you use for your connection? We would still have that bandwidth problem wouldn't we?

How much do you earn every time we click on the banner on the main IW page? And is it enough to just click it and let it load? Because if all we have to do is to click that banner 1000000 times then we could easily do it....

I also type quicker than most, and I often (almost every post) hit the flood control. I have two windows open at the same time.

i say reduce it, as no1 really spams, and if they do, chuck em off.

As I said, it isn't going to be lowered until we can have our own dedicated server.. So lets Donate to it guys! You know I would totally remove it if it were up to me, but it's not at the moment.

Remember, I now have a Paypal account!
