Yes, it's quite interesting really. As if 1 language wasn't enough for a million people, we also have Võro type Estonian, which only a very small percentage of the population understands. The only ones who have a similar language to us are the Finns, who we're blood-related to. Still, I think only about 1% of people in Estonia can speak Finnish fluently. None of us really understands the Latvian and Lithuanian language, even though they're so close to us. [img]tongue.gif[/img] Then there's the Russians in the East, which is another story.

LOL, I'm not so ignorant as to think Europeans are culturally homogenous . I used European to signify a general location, as I would use Asian if I knew someone was from somewhere in Asia but not their exact nationality, or African, or South American and so on, not to give some indication of their cultural identity.
