The dog woke up at 4am and had to go outside. Well, I couldn't sleep after that and came downstairs for about an hour and messed around on the forum. At about 5:30 I got tired again and went back to bed. It was still pitch dark and I knew the dog was lying on the flooor somewhere in the bedroom. I walked around to my side of the bed very slowly so as not to step on her. I got to my side, sat down, grabbed the pulled back sheats and, YELP! I layed down on the dog!

Oh yeah! She's white so I didn't even see her on the sheets, right under my pillow.. gave my wife a start too.

I heard a story about a guy who kept a loaded handgun on the nightstand next to his bed, and when he woke up to the phone ringing at 4 am he tried to grab the phone and say "hello" but instead ended up blowing the top of his ear clean off...
this proves a point: turn off your ringer after 12:00 pm midnight SilentThief
