Awesome equipment at not so cheap prices. But still well worth what you pay.

I'm still considering an Area51 for my upcoming laptop purchase. However, to get the least expensive model that has everything I want, it's $2200 -- without the extended warranty.

But, working with Nvidia to create the first upgradeable graphics chip in a laptop is AWESOME.

Anyone know of the customer service reputation of alienware? What about initial software loads -- specifically Word or Office??

Light Bulb

I like how you can make your own computer and choose what it has. I once made one to see what the most expensive u could make was and it was like $17,000! A little bit too much for me I think!

Keep in mind Alienware is designed for gamers. Why would you want MS Word on it in the first place

I was trying to convince my mom to buy me one of the laptops for xmas before I decided to go to NZ...she was like....noooo way in hell
