Military Poll

This topic sprung up on the GI Joe boards. Found it interesting.

If you had to join the military, what branch of service would you choose (Army, Navy, Air-Force, Marines, Coast Guard)? And why? And what would you hope to be (pilot, special forces, etc)?

Army, because i would want to make my father proud, and i would be infitry because scared to fly,lol

I plan on joining the military once I am the eligible age.

My plan is to hopfully become a Cavalry Scout. Why? Dont know, just seems like someting I would enjoy doing.

Well, since I was almost in the Navy, I'll have to choose the Navy. One signature away, and now I wish I had signed.

I think I'd go into the Air Force branch, why, because I'd take it to the air rather than on the ground.

Officer or enlised? Out of curiosity, what does a cavalry scout do? Recon?

Enlisted. I dont plan on making it my entire life, just a few years..

A Cavalry Scout, is basicly, a scout [img]smile.gif[/img] . They act as the first front so to speak using light armored vehicles (Hummers and the like) Ahead of the rest of the friendly forces, get numbers, intel, and such.

But the Navy sounds good too. You get to see more of the world in the Navy then in other branches, but I dont think the navy has anything I would enjoy doing all much. And I am not all that fond of living for weeks on a boat..

perhaps the Army. I would love to join the sniper division. I like to shoot at people one by one without them knowing it. [img]smile.gif[/img]
