Hmm. The IW graphics library seems to be missing a dog-humping-leg emoticon... Nothing less will do! Damn, i'm getting anxious for this!..

I like the idea of the coin. Collector's edition for me.

I prefer the idea of a clothed map myself... not a paper one. In Morrowind GOTY, that was a HUGE mistake.

Yeah clothed maps are awesome. I never liked paper ones, they always get ruined so fast...

God, I cannot wait. I may give my game dev skills a workout on their editor.. If it allows importing of 3D Models and stuff... and is easier enough to create levels... hmmmm

The forests in OBV are THE best shots of nature in a game I have seen to date. PERIOD. amazing. Can't wait, and I'll be buying the collecters version.
Hopefully this should answer your questions on the TES:CS capabilties. You probably already read it, but what the hell.

Quote:
Will there be a 3dmax Importer/Exporter which will enable the modding community to continue to input their own mesh creations, and if not, will it be possible to input modder mesh work by any means or will there be some kind of support for this?
We are looking into releasing an exporter similar to the Morrowind tool. Specific plans will be announced when the details are ready.
Quote:
In Morrowind you can NOT add animations to the PLAYER. If you use "playgroup" on the Player Morrowind crashes. Will modders now be able to ADD new animations to the Player via the construction set?
Yes, though probably only idle animations. That is now an editor section and does not need heavy scripting.
Quote:
Is the 3DMax flex modifier supported?
No.
Quote:
Can you elaborate on the properties of water? For example, flowing rivers that affect PC movement or waves that vary depending on circumstances (i.e. ocean vs. lake waves; calm vs. stormy day)? Would these features be adjustable via script?
There are different water types, though we do not have them move or affect you – it’s really just a visual. The editor has a whole section for creating your own water effects. The game does have some great looking waterfalls too.
I'm seeing my friends in Bethesda Maryland setting back in their chairs
next year playing Zirocs Mod and tripping on his Tallent then asking "How
do we get this guy on the team and will he leave Flordia and Join the Elder
Scrolls Team before we start our next Project on a completely new continent?"
Once Todd and Donna see What Ziroc has up his sleve they'll be Knocking
on his door.
After that I'll know three people that work for Bethesda Softworks. Just wish
I had the tallent to work for them, they are some really nice people.
