Congrats, Andrea and Drake! The finest diamonds come from the highest pressure, so may your gifts and blessings, so well-formed as they are, show throughout your lives.

And ten-five! That's not a baby... that's a monster!

For those without a frame of reference, an eight-pound baby is considered big. Below... six and a half, I think, is considered small. I'm not sure about that end; both our kids were over eight. But nowhere near ten! Yowzah!

Thank you everyone. I'll be able to go home after some recovery time and physical therapy, as I have not walked in nearly 4 months.

His name is his father's choosing. My husband's first name is Drake's middle name. Thank you for the complements on it.

Thanks again for your support. Drake is very healthy and is a very good baby. I am doing fine as well.

Congratulations on your new, healthy baby boy! I'm so happy for you! And also glad that you are feeling better and recovering. I think that now that you are no longer carrying him (big baby by the way!) your body can focus on itself now, so I would not be surprised if you bounce back quickly. Give little Drake a kiss on the nose for me!

Take care and God Bless.
Wendy

WOW We have that tradition in our family as well. If there is a second son we go with the fathers brothers name as the middle name or some other prominant male relative.

Thus my older brothers middle name is my dad's first name. As I'm the second son my middle name is my mothers brothers first name.

Hope that made sence.
