Ok, guys and gals. This thread was started to focus on the financial plight of IW.

Due to circumstances, it's become derailed, and if possible, I'd like your help to get it back on track.

I have had phone conversations with Dan, and to those of you who like to give people the impression that you support Ironworks financially, I know that you don't. I know pretty much who gives around here and who doesn't. Let me tell you folks, you would be surprised to find out who some of the people are that give and more than shocked to find out that some people that you are sure are contributing have never, and I quote Dan, “sent a penney to help out.” I know who you are though

I just wonder about how many IW members feel good about that quote?

I think it's been made pretty obvious and explicit in this topic that Reeka *has* given Dan loads of money, and since you doubted that fact in none too nice tones, I don't think an apology is too much to ask. [img]smile.gif[/img]
I agree that accusations without naming names aren't exactly encouraging a good atmosphere either, but let's not turn this thread into anything bigger than it has already been made. That would be unfair to Dan - this thread is simply about donations. If you're willing to make them, do so. If you cannot make it, no problem either. But let's quit the bickering, please! As Mouse said, the problems will be looked into, but maybe this isn't the place to do it. It's only pouring more oil on the flames.

Jesus christ, people. It is stated in the IW rules that abuse or 'mouthing off' at a moderator is not tolerated. What can't we read here?

This is the first rule and suggests PMing the webmaster if a problem arises rather than publicly knocking decisions or actions. There is absolutely no need for that post, Megabot. You have no right to demand actions and then pass scathing comments on Larry's character whilst referring to him as 'this guy'. It's plain rude, man and if someone referred to me in this way I'd tell 'em where to go. It amazes me how brave people get when one or two seem to support their view...really it can be extremely revealing of character.

Unless Ziroc takes any action (if action is even warranted in this case) then leave it alone. Make all the Pm's you want but do *not* attempt to degrade someones character publicly, no less in the same forums that person moderates. You could easily have been polite like others were and simply suggested that a post offended you fired your anger.

Why doesn't everyone just stay out of this though? I mean a one-on-one argument is one thing, but for others to chime in and go 'you twat Larry' is very low, regardless of who's right and wrong here. Come on people, this isn't our fight.
