well, i happen to have a Duron 1.4 ghz, running at 1.0 ghz becuase of cooling issues (as in, my cooling is crap) well i recently updated my graphics card to one that worked (radeon 9600) and so far my machine has run every single thing my brothers pc can run. his is an AMD 2200xp i belive, somewhere around there, with a geforce 4 somethingorother....
My Pc can run Deus Ex 2, or at least the demo, as the full game isn't out in england yet. and deus ex 2 is one of the newest computer hogs just out. my old graphics card wasn't even close to running it, but the Duron hasn't had a single problem with it.....

Well, I've been an intel user (the latest being P3 600) and thought, I may try something new just for the sake of it....
Can't buy now, gotta...collect...more..$$$$...
