You can only do this in Shadows of Undrentide, if you have it installed, but not in the original NWN.

There is an dialogue option when you talk to them that allows them to level up but only to one level below yours so theyr're not totally helpless.

That, and there is this hakpack which will allow you to edit henchman inventories and the like in the pre-SoU 1.30 version.

marco are you talking about in single player or multiplayer? Also note that the character inventory system that is added in SOU only works in SOU. Even when you have SOU installed if you are playing the original NWN content you can not access those NPC inventory with out something like the hakpack Legolas posted. This also goes for mods made by other people. They have to make the mods with SOU for you to beable to access NPC inventorys and from what I have heard they can disable it if it would imbalance the mod but I am not sure on that point.

Stratos you can only access their inventory in single player correct? Multi you still go through the normal "trade" dialog. Also the level up thing works in both the NWN and SOU.

Legolas Thanks!

If by multiplayer you mean another PC in your party then no, you can't mess round with their inven. You can, obviously still mess around with a henchmens inven in MPer. The DM can do both .

i jsut starting the single player version and had a npc in the PRELUDE training area. I wanted to load up somestuff on him but could not get to his inventory. I'm used to BGII/IWD etc... where you can access everyone in your party inventory and char. etc.
