getting to the Medussa Naga

After completing the summoning ritual and answering the Spirit of Xydussa's questions, I entered the door in the serpent statue and flipped the lever. I was dumped onto the lower lever into a hallway facing north (the end of the passageway). I am unable to turn around or back up to get off of this spot. Occasionally, I will spin in a complete circle so I can see the passage but the spin won't stop until I'm back facing north again. Any suggestions? I'm dizzy and frustrated.

Hopefully you saved your game between performing the ritual and speaking to the Naga Spirit and pulling the lever.
This is a common problem spot for some players.
The trick here is to pull the lever and jump right away so that you don't get caught in the hole or floor on your way down.
If all else fails, Wyvern can help you out by you sending her a saved game prior to jumping.
I just read a thread that suggests your video card may be the culprit in this particular case.

Gosh - so many folks with this problem lately.

Try looking down and see if that helps. If not, send me a saved game, and I'll get you down to the room where you are supposed to be and send it back.
