. Alright so I need something to do when WoW is down for its weekly maintanence so I have decided to try a solo run through the game all in HOF mode, the only problem is that i cant decide which class to go. Some of the options I was thinking of were.
[MC]Fighter/Druid [MC]Ranger/Cleric Fighter/Cleric/Thief I did want a mage but considering the amount of level ups I will be getting thete is no way that I would be able to get the right spells for my level. So what do you think?. On a side note, which mod gives IWD unlimited stacking?. cheers. [ 06-06-2006, 10:49 AM: Message edited by: lost prophet ]

Definitely Half-Elf Cleric/Ranger in my opinion.

Yeh in the end i couldnt wait for an answer and went with that exact same option. Still working out how to face combat with this character as, even though its popular class i have never played it in any game (IWD,BG,BG:II) so maybe it'll take some getting used to. But time will see.

Fighter/Cleric/Thief is not a valid class.
Cleric/ranger seems best indeed. If not, try fighter/cleric. Fighter/cleric/mage would've been very good too if you had mage scrolls. If you dont mind CLUAing those scrolls for yourself (and subtracting money as if you bought them) that could be the class to go. EDIT: I think ease-of-use mode gives unlimited stacking? never used it myself though. [ 06-06-2006, 02:28 PM: Message edited by: ZFR ]

F/M/C would also be a good option, methinks. Compared to the R/C, you would be trading self-buffs and offensive AoE spells for summons and Static Charge.

F/M/C will be better. Lots more offensive spells and a pinch of invisibility to get the hell out of battle.

I just wanted to add a F/M/C in there too.
Wear armor until you find some good robes and good mage spells.
