Hmm, could be a little heavy. At least a boat doesn't have to have an engine in it to be of any use.

Re: I am officially sick of winter
John and Tom Wills (Still can't believe TOM'S there!) At wave3 did say it was coming--my god its insane.. Been watching the video and stuff from the Courier Journal and stuff--my Sister lives off Westport Rd--they have power at least...
But its bad.. Bad enough to call the ENTIRE KY National Guard for the first time ever for a local event. nuts... LG&E still say 7 days to go--as the ice melts, the tree limbs covered with ice snap back, tripping the circuits AGAIN! ugh.. just a mess.. I saw the ice coming too--was hoping it would either convert or be quick. Ice storms are nasty... from Mother nature OR an evil Mage!

Re: I am officially sick of winter
I experiencing the Ice storm in Ottawa some years back. Actually, I was delayed by a day, coming back from California. I was lucky, my power was only out about 6-7 hours, the day I was to return. Others were much worse off.
I'm glad the power lines in our area were buried. If you're interested, you can read about it in the Guinness book of records.

Re: I am officially sick of winter
Oh God.
I can seriously say I'm tired of pedestrian transportation and winter. That 'snow storm' we were supposed to get just turned out to be some mild snow. Went to walk to work and almost busted my ass five times, well, the sixth time did it. Five years back I blew out my right knee, now I've blown out my left. Hit a patch of ice that I didn't see and my leg turn a sharp turn inward and popped that SB right out of place. Had to straighten my leg and push it back into place. Crap like this scares me, I'm afraid if this ever happens again, I might never be able to walk again, ugh. |

Re: I am officially sick of winter
Damn, Gangrell! Sorry to hear that... I prescribe sun and sand on a tropical beach. Along with sufficient refreshments to dull any pains...
If you can't hit the beach, I hope you're able to rest it up enough to heal.
