<font color = lightgreen>I remember when the graphic novel came out (when was that? 1988? [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img] ). Frank Miller is an excellent story-teller so the movie will have a great plot. I certainly hope the movie is indeed shot in that high-contrast black-and-white that the trailers show because that will really add to the "grittiness" of the overall story. [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img] </font>

Sin city is definately a movie I'm looking forward to, the trailers shows some real promiss.

I got to see it tuesday at a screening. I thought it was awesome, very stylistic and very comic bookish. I could practically see the speech bubbles above the characters when they were talking.

can someone help me out here, who are the good guys and who r the bad guys, the actor's names?

Define "good" and "bad."

Although it's filmed in mostly black and white, things in this world rarely are.

I just got home, and thought it was absolutely amazing. Totally felt like reading the graphic novels again.

I saw it today with Rain, and we liked it a lot. Very nice and stylized. The list of stars is too numerous to point out, but let's just say that Jessica Alba has never looked better.
