Stands up with drink in hand and almost falls over. Boy, I must be getting a little tipsy. Finishes her drink in one gulp and looks around for the bartender. Hmm, I could use another drink. Follows Gray Mage to the back of the room where everyone else is.

LadyRae comes galloping into the Inn, zooms around the crowd, plants a kiss on each of her unbelieving friends (on the cheeks, ladies!) and gallops back out, hardly more than than a blur. The Inn is submerged in total silence for a moment, and then, like wild things coming back to life after a storm, returns to normal.

He begins casting quietly, eyes closed, cursing himself for being drawn into the competition he cannot possible win. His guitar takes on a soft glow, and he feels it come alive in his hands. Thank god for the slide guitar, he says to himself and begins to play. He may not be a great warrior and he may not be the best mage, but there is one thing he can do, and that's play. The sounds from his guitar are at once soulful and sorrowful. Vibrant, yet morose. The song of his heart played out for all to hear. Without realizing it, he begins to sing. He sings of days gone by, of great deeds in a time of heroes, of love gained, love lost, of life and the innermost feelings of all. For most of the evening it goes until, he stops, exhausted.*
