Mine was the "Chocolate the Great" awareness post. That post took off fast, and brought forth the ability to use

I don't think I've had one! I'm a legend in my own mind though... Perhaps some contributions to the Great Holy Smiting thread are of note..

How does one measure success?
I don't recall ever having one of my posts go to over 25 posts (I'm not whining or complaining about not getting attention Rikard). So I'll say that my most successful post was when I replied to a message and was able to figure out how to scribble the html code to quote two different people in the same message. That one ranks right up there with how I learned to make words in color . ------------------ "The supreme irony of life is that no one gets out of it alive." Job: A Comedy of Justice |

Not sure. Maybe the Icebreaker threads? If by successful you mean lots of replies. But I would also say that I consider number of different respondents as a benchmark too.

As far as number of replies, it had to have been one I put on the old board (partly in response to complaints about off topic threads) about how happy I was to have come across "real" people on a gaming message board. Totally blew away the sterotypes of D&D and AD&D players I had developed as a callow youth.
In terms of success, any game related post has been tremendous for me. Someone has always (well one exception) responded with courtesy and respect - no matter how many times my question has been asked. In addition, several (Memnoch, Black Knight, Sir_Tainly, Donut, Jerome, Gabriel, Hesperex... shall I continue?) have provided most helpful links when they felt it might be inappropriate to resuscitate the dead horse I was beating. ------------------ - for cut rate prices call 976-BRIS-FOR-LESS {Next time I send some damned fool, I'll go myself...} |

As the creator and major contributer to the "Evil Smiting" topic i think i can saftely say that that would be my most outstanding memory, but the one where i first talked to CB and BK, and then became arch-nemisi' with them was pretty funny to.....oh and i think i accuired Hellfire as a partner in that one too...pretty productive!

I have no most successful post but I do have a most unsuccessful post .... The one on the old board where Wah and I were racing each other to see who'd reach '200 posts' first.. and crashed the board ..... ------------------ Melusine, Archbabe of the OHF and the LH Your voice is ambrosia |
