I think drow equipment only dissapears in the area where you get out of the Underdark. At least i cheated a drow armor while i was in caravasar and it didnt dissapear

I don't know if anyone posted this yet, but I tried it on a whim. You can keep your drow armor intact if you put it in the bag of holding BEFORE you leave the underdark! I took mine out when I got back to the city and it's working fine!

Must be a lucky bug for you mildred, I had all my drow equipment in my bag of holding and ended up with 10 lumps of dust when i got back to the surface
You wouldn't be talking about the Gorgon's plate? That can be taken out of the underdark as it's not made of adamantine. |

Nope--it was everybody's drow armor, admantine, elven chain, plate, etc.! Sorry it didn't work for you And here I was thinking I had figured out something brilliant...

Just thought of this--I waited until I got into the city gates area to take the armor out. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
