If you want to start with a wizard, does anyone have advice on how to get the best character (most powerful) i.e. a quick outline?

When i stared w/ my wizard, i made sure i level up all the way in sun spells and fiend when i turned to warlock. now he is a paladian. The wizard tends to be weaker and more prone to death or always low life. after paladian, not sure where i'll take him yet.

If you are playing solo:

Create a Elf-Wizard (Quick learner) with at least 85 attributes.

Get Sun and Stone to lvl 1, change to Warlock
Get Fiend and Moon to lvl 1, change to Paladin
Get Spirit to lvl 1, change to Ranger
Get Vine to lvl 1, change to barbarian.
RESET GAME
Go to about lvl 12 (use the wacking Rumphy trick), boost your HP and your INT and SPI has high as possible.
Change to Warlock.
RESET GAME

Now, you are starting the game with a warlock that has all the realms of magic, decent HP and good INT and SPI. Make sure you guild hop and get the crusade trait before you complete shuregeon castle. Go and Cycle trough all the roles.

Thrust me, this will give you a Super God.

Have fun.
