No. There are no kits for Sorcerers, becuase Sorcerer is a class and kit of it`s own. Like Monk and Barbarian.

Bioware used more than one dirty hack when making BG2, among them is the sorceror which is a mage kit. It is not possible to make kits for the sorceror class because of this.

However, there are mods that use dialogues instead of character generation, since a script can do things not bound by the standard character generator, so sorceror kits could become available at some point.

It's a 3rd edition class and a really a class of it's own, different from a mage, although that might not be the case in BG2. Besides, if you by kit mean a specialist mage, then the idea with a Sorcerer is that they use the power they were born with instead of studying a specific spell school.

I don't think socercerors are supposed to have enough control over their powers to kit.

Well, there is a sorcerer/druid hybrid kit available here: http://www.teambg.net/forum/?board=2...;threadid=9465

I haven't tried it yet, but the creator put a LOT of work into the design.

Hmm...sounds interresting.

Personally I would prefer that the Sorcerer to have his own pool of spells to choose from that would differentiate him from the mage just as a Druid have a different spell selection than the Cleric.

And now to go a bit off topic...
I just bought NWN and is just beginning to get into 3rd ed. rules but I'm quite sure that Bards have their very own pools of spells, mixing both typically divine and arcane spells into an interresting mix that are casted the same way as a Sorcerers cast his. Since the Wizard( mage) and the Sorcerer are two completely different classes it wouldn't be impossible to give them slightly different spells to choose from.
