Recently, one of my charaters was turned into a vampire, i don't mind it, it makes my charater kinda uniqe, but how do i drain life from other things? I use the skill but it says its out of range no matter how close i get to the target.

I think you have to equip something in your shield hand for it to work. Mark (Skywalker) will know, as he ran a solo vampire through the whole game.

Yes Saz!

It works like the second strike in Kung Fu. You need something in the Vamp's left hand (I'm not sure if it works with a weapon). Just don't try to make a Vampire into a Monk. the Vamp won't be able to bite with nothing in that hand and won't become a Monk with something equipped.

I had to hang around the Fountain Of Isis while she (my vampire) was on the Monk Quest, to heal up until she completed it. That was a real pain!

Is the vamp a lot more powerful than normal characters?

Hard for me to tell how powerful she was. When I get home I'll post the stats, but I do know she had made many critical hits with the bite!

I found it funny (I know, I'm odd) that my Vamp could break open crates and barrels with her teeth!

Well I don't know if any of these numbers are significant, but much was attained because it was a solo adventure.

Shiva was a Female Human Vampire Valkyrie
24 in all of Attributes
To Hit = 36
Parry = 23
Speed = 24
Kills = 2460

This was at the end of the game. I really don't think this proves that vampires are more powerful than non-vampires, not in the way that Boogrefied characters are. I do know that it was fun to play the character as a vampire, I just can't say why. So much so that I may play another solo using a Pixie and I was thinking of doing a Vampire again. Hmmm, play the game as a boogre, pixie, vampire?

Interesting, I just might try it!

Pixie vamps would be a bad idea, pixies have low HP, dwarves or lizzords would be better.
