I just started a gnome cleric. I wanna balance him with a wizard class. When it says favored class wizard, does it include sorcerer? I'd rather do sorcerer in this situation. Is it the same?

Boy, it's busy here today. Was everybody off work, like me, due to the weather?

I'm pretty sure that wizard is separate. It does seem to have been busy today.

Nope. They say "wizard" and they mean "wizard". If you take sorcerer instead, you will have to keep the levels balanced with each other or suffer the experience penalty.

Even with Wizard, does a Gnome consider it the favored class if they don't choose Illusion as a specialty? Looks like in NWN it might, just have never tried to verify.

It will be the favoured class regardless of spell school specializations.

Well, either way, it's a fun combo to play! Once you're at 2nd lvl in each you've got Find Trap and Knock. So, I 've just been running around with Daelan and we're pretty much covered for everything! I'm even using 2 daggers (+1) right now, which seem to work pretty well. What other weapons are good for the little folk with limited selection? I do also use a heavy crossbow +2 as well.
