hlp-shipwrecked at skull isle

I just finished the castle at skull isle. When I returned to my ship on the shoreline, I discovered that my ship had drifted into the island and the wheel that you click on to sail is completely inside of a tree. I cannot get to the front of the ship. I can see a small part of the wheel pop out of the tree from time to time, but clicking on it does nothing.

Three ?'s
1-is this part of the game that i have not figured out
if not
2-do i need the ship to complete the game?

3-any ideas, i tried using teleport spells and i cannot buy a new boat cuz it will not allow it

Yikes!
Have you got a saved game where your ship is still sea worthy?? I'm afraid you might have to restore your game. You could try just swimming around with your spawn meter set to seldom and see if that works for you.

the ship isn't important, I used it only few times because I love to swim . If the sharks and others disturb you, simply ignore them.

That's No Biggie, just swim around for now and a little bit later you can steal Bloodbeards ship =)
