I have all the items and I know the order in which to place them in the pipes. Stupid question, how do I place them in the pipes? I have them in my inventory and click on the pipe and get bolted. I tried dropping them on the ground in front of each pipe and I get bolted. What am I doing wrong? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

I'm not really sure but what i did was stick all of them into my main character, and click them randomly (when it has an explosion its correct, but when you get hit its wrong and you have to start over). after awhile i got it, and the damage shoudn't hurt.
I think it goes #3, #1, #2, #4... |

You not only have to know which pipes they go in, you have to know the proper sequence to apply them in. Either on the pipes themselves or in your equipment screen when you right click on the item, it should give you clues such as 'this item seals the deal,' or 'this item is neither first nor third.' From there you should be able to figure out which item to put in place first, second, third, and last.
