Weapons for a Kensai

What would u ppl choose? I'd like to hear all ur opinions... BTW, my kensai is soloing and he wont be dualing to any other classes.... So I need a good variety of weapons to keep me alive through the whole game! Meaning I need to have weapons for trolls, UD ...etc. Can anyone help me decide what weapons would be best? And I would be mastering my katana BTW, thx.

Katanas, katanas and once again katanas [img]smile.gif[/img]

Drop one star for long swords (deals with Trolls, Kangaxx) and warhammers/flails (clay golems). Or just invent an another way to kill hte claymans, cuz myself I hated to use anything but katanas on my soloist kensai, and never used a warhammer - had to run from all the clay golems I met.

So, the conclusion is as follows: use katanas, swith to long sword in some specific cases and use warhammers/flails in other VERY specific cases [img]smile.gif[/img]

To my mind, he would be much more like a Dark Templar, quick, deadly and silent (thats mu image tho). Stack on Rings Of Imvis for further resemblance [img]smile.gif[/img]

Nah..... c'mon, when did u see a Kensai killing everything in one hit? (Marines) he is more of a zealot, powerful, strong, dunno about the armor part tho, and definatly the attack speed (pretty goood u know). Oh and isnt this thing getting off topic? From BG2 to SC...

Kensai's lack the toughness Zealots posses, but are more than capable of cutting through the crowd, like a knife through butter, as Dark Templars do....

And with Kai on, my kensai was able to kill some foes with just one hit. Not only Goblins [img]smile.gif[/img]

Slaver Guards, Hobgoblin crowds..... examples are many [img]smile.gif[/img]

If you are looking for a good katana the best is the celestial fury. and the great thing is that you can get it early in the game. by chapter two. i had it on my wizard slayer when i soloed. i have the celestial fury and the crom flayer. i think thats how its spelt. it was hard but well worth it.

Crom Faeyr is only obtainable after a visit to the Underdark (where you find an important ingredient which makes things a lot lighter) isn't it?

Had a dream last night of a Dark Templar Kensai fighting with Bodhi (her voice was Kerrigan's, and the speeches she said sounded Kerrigan's too... I mean Mutated Kerrigan's)
Too much CG till 4 am is not so good on psychics, after all [img]smile.gif[/img] LOL!

On the topic: Jon, are you planning to restrict your weapon selection? Or CFaeyr and FoA are OK? If its the later, go for them and enjoy the powergamer you have bred up [img]smile.gif[/img]

CF +5 (+3 is also OK tho) is an another excellent choice. Beware the consequences if you have Tactics installed!
