That immediately brings up thoughts of the bachelor party in American Wedding

Right, so these rich Beltway sponsor families pay the foreign chick to live with them, babysit / clean / whatever (generally very light labor), they pay for her college tuition at one of the state schools (UMD, &tc.).

The workload's light enough that some can even hold other part-time jobs. Pretty much a good deal all around, especially for local guys who think Czech babes are awesome

*edit* race condition in my first sentence

Nothing like a slow night when you are on salary. I once had a 12-hour shift in an E.R. when nobody at all came in. Sweet.

Well, Attalus, I'm guessing you've certainly made up for it!

Aleph, you going to call her? You should! Call her tonight!

Drew, yesterday was lousy, but I think I did better on my Calculus II test this time...still not an "A" but I guess that I can try to get one of those on the next one...yesh...I love physics immeasurably, but I'm not so hot on the math..oh well, I'll get better, I guess!

Man o man, it was good to sleep in today...the Calculus TA's were grading the test, so no class OR recitation!

Anyway, I'm off to eat breakfast You all have a great day!

Wow, talk about a buzzkill...evey time I post in the cafe, it slows down by ninety percent for a few hours...

Man, I want to go jump off a bridge...I can't seem to vent properly, and it's just sucky...and I can't ever seem to get ahold of the person I need to talk to...:sigh:

Thanks for posting your shot of Anomen's falling off the ladder, LZ! I loved it with the text, as that's what originally cracked me up when we were playing! I mean, a LADDER? LOL! He's been climbing them all along and then WHAM, he falls on his butt a dozen times! LOL

Kill Bill 2 was blah

I had an easy day today. Picked up an extra shift at work and hung out with the store manager, got home to see that the last 2 of the 6 Cowboy Bebop DVDs I was waiting for sitting on my bed

Got work tomorrow, but for now I'm gonna make myself some coffee and watch my DVDs ^^ nighty night all
