When did you start?

and how many that dosent smoke or drink at all.

Never smoked, started drinking at 14.

damn many people seem to start at 14 its very early i dont smoke and i take about 1 beer every second or third week

Never smoked, started drinking at 16, but even then it was rare, probably only had about 5 beers between the time I was 16 and 18. In college I drank much more, than after college it peetered out. Now it's again a rare occurance, mainly only on special occasions like new years eve, weddings, etc.

Smoking, other than cigs I nicked from relatives (beginning at like age 5 or 6 I guess), the first time I started smoking was when I went to college: age 16.

I began drinking in 8th Grade, and the summers between 8th and 9th and 9th and 10th grades I drank fairly often.

started drinking at 9 and smoking at 11

Never smoked as in habbit..tried it a couple of times but gave it up as disgusting, started drinking in 1980, drankl ike a fish while I was a sailor then got burned out on it by 1988 so quit, and don't like alcohol in my drinks...I like the taste better without.
