You have my sympathy and I'm truly glad that you can still celebrate her and all that she did in her life.

Tiamat, with all due respect, losing a pet, no matter how loved, is considerably different from losing a fellow human being from one's life...especially when that person happens to be one's mother.

I dont know if I should be glad her suffering is over or be saddened over her departure from this world. I do know that I admire your strength in coping with the loss of a woman you dearly loved.
My condolences Dan.

Dan,

My deepest sympathies. Having a loved pass away is never easy, but knowing that they are now free from the pain of the world is a small measure of relief. My thoughts are with you.

Dan, I'm sorry for your loss. i know that nothing i say could possibly help you though this tough time, so i wont even try. Just feel solace that she's in a better place, and that her suffering is ended, and that you will, one day, see her again.
