Valkyrie Troubles

Damn, it didn't work. I was able to turn in all 4 of the books to become a ZenMaster, but my female monk that threw in the heart entered the Bushi-Dojo and still did not get offered to become a Valkyrie. Since I feel that I did what was required, I'm going to cheat her to be a Valkyrie.

Edit: Damnit, I can't cheat either. My Assassin automatically is the 1st character that pops up when I open the editor. He's got over 12 million XP, so when I try to switch to character #4, which is my Monk, I get a message saying that I need to enter a number between 1-3 million. If I do that, I'll lose an insane amount of levels. Is there any other way I can make my monk a Valkyrie?

You do realize that it has to be at the TEMPLE that you receive the promotion to valkyrie and NOT the bushi dojo?

And no... I do not believe there are other ways of making a character into a valkyrie.

Edit: It worked out great! Now I've got my Assassin, Valkyrie, and ZenMaster party for my next trip .

My advice is: Let yourself spoil before your next run-through of the game. That way you know all the little tricks to the game. I hope you will be searching for the missing traits as well. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Sure, sure . BTW, don't you automatically gain the enlightment trait when becoming a ZenMaster? I don't think I got it, because my ZenMaster can still add 12 blessings to items instead of 14.

No, "enlightenment" is the zenmaster's so-called "high level trait". The special roles have a high level trait which only will become available to you for purchasing at level 18. So unfortunately your zenmaster have to be a level 18 zenmaster to purchase the trait at the bushi dojo.

That's fine with me, he's already level 5 or 6 and I haven't even reset adventures yet and returned to Valeia. I got it from completing some some quests, so it's all good .

BTW, which are the missing traits? I remember a thread about this, but I never bothered to read through it since it was fairly long.
