Happy I'm feeling merry indeed!

Well it was a PITA to get, especially at level 73 (considering the particular location of one of the 'brothers' ) but I managed to get my Merrymaker title today...yay!

These achievements can be such a distraction! How are you all getting on with the various aspects of the game?

LOL I'm trying to avoid those at the moment. I have a few bars till I get exalted with Ebon Blade so that's what I'm going for.

I think the achievements had added some little extra incentives to do stuff in the game, but they sure can get annoying. Plus, I'm patently against the holiday stuff, which I find to be deviously designed time-wasters. Sure I'll pick up presents and if there's a wand I'll take it to a raid and play with it. But I'm not running around hunting up eggs in low level areas to make cookies.

My Merry Yule has come in the form of a crapton of new raid drops for me lately. I picked up 4 pieces in one night in H. Naxx over the holiday, and last night I got a sword, hat, pants, and malygos key from Regular Naxx. My stats say I've gotten over 160 epics on this character over time. I dunno, seems low to me, lol.

Pfft, titles. I prefer those old pvp titles. (Grand Marshal etc)

I find achievement very irritating sometimes especially during dungeoning.
~ In H draktaron. "Hey guys, wanna go for king drek achievement?" My god! Let just kill the bastard and be done with it!
~ In H Gundrak finalboss. "Stop dpsing it and let it impale all of us!"
ffs let's just kill it and get our loot!

I'm currently doing the Loremaster achievement and I'm left with kalimdor (681/730). According to wowhead I lose a lot by not doing the aq quests. Also certain just don't add to the quest count, which is wierd.

Btw, does satharion achievement (1,2,3 drake up) drop extra loot?

Those loremaster ones I don't think can be right. I kept Gryx at 38-39 for ages destroying people in battlegrounds (not twinked, I simply pvped enough to get WSG swords, AB armor, etc.) but it says I've only done ~200 quests in each island? Surely I did more than that levelling to ~35 and then up to 60.

And yes, the more Drakes you do, the more loot you get.

10 man.

0 drakes = 2 items i200
1 drake = 3 items i200
2 drakes = 3 items i200 1 item i213
3 drakes = 3 items i200 2 items 213

25 man

0 drakes = 2 items 213
1 drake = 3 items 213
2 drakes = 3 items 213 1 item 226
3 drakes = 3 items 213 1 item 226 1 drake
