Actually, Talthyr, I found that quite astute and intriguing.

I used to have a book on dream interpretations (might still have it, actually) and what you said sounds just like something I would have found in that book. Now, only Epona will know if it might be true, but interesting view on her dream here.

250 was right I agree, but sometimes the symbolism isn't as complex, because the interpretation I gave was interpreting symbols, they just seemed easier, becasue however complex the symbolism is, you could argue there must be some reason for it meaning something, I reckon it's all about the interpretation.
But then, that's me

Hmmm, I think I would have prefered always thinking of Ziroc as a dndelion to actually knowing what he looked like.

Exactly, Larry, only smaller and more yellow
Ramon, BG2 English is WONDERFUL. Minsc is really funny, Imoen is only mildly annoying, the text actually makes sense, Jaheira has gotten a LOT better (what was that - oh omnipresent authoritative person? Oh allgegenwaertige Authoritaetsperson? LOL ). Why does everyone complain about the Chitikka Fastpaws thing - that's harmless!
Even apart from the English, BG2 is really great. I especially like the NPC interaction (for all of you who are thinking... you know, I immediately ditched Anomen - I hate him! Annoying self-righteous &*^#%!)

the following interpretation is totally based on my own understanding, which has nothing to do with expertised ones (in short: bull)

swim could be an enjoyable experience

so it can mean joy
what kind swim? Butterfly? or just floating?

what does water mean? water means life, peace, endurence, intelligence
ocean water is specially strong

many pools of water could mean:
I dont know, but I am sure it doesnt mean "life paths open up"

a small island = ??? (again, destination, loneliness are just interpretation from apparent meaning, not true)
a pub = ??? (my guess: socialization? relief?)
(what kind pub?)
a pub full of people = ???
a pub full of strange people = ??? (my guess: exploration, pressure, nerveous)
encountering mean people = ??? (my guess: frustration, or a reflection of oneself?)
drinking = ??? (my guess: habit, relax)
not getting what is requested = ??? (my guess: .... no guess here)
swiming against flow = ??? (my guess: circumstances change, the thing that one used to enjoy becomes unfamiliar/not-enjoyable)
trapped = ??? (my guess: sameness, safety zone)
feeling resignation = ??? (my guess: ... is as good as yours)

well, you see, it is much more complex than the apparent message. theere are alot things to look into. and giving Epona depressing respondes (most of these responds are) is just NOT responsible. so please stop doing that.

Hey, I was just saying my own interpretations, and the second one wasn't depressing, it was just saying it could lead to better things.
Plus, what do you expect it's not like I've been studying human psychology and dreams or anything, I've never even done it before.
I'm still in secondary school for crying out loud
(lol at old sayings such as 'for crying out loud)

Thanks for the "report" and I am glad you are enjoying BGII so much. I also think you are right: the NPC interaction is the most fascinating part of the game and - together with the much more elaborated magic system - the area with the most significant improvement over BG I.

Sigh ! There goes our romantic future together, Kazlein: annoying, self-righteous &*^#% that is me, I have been told so many times that I could be Anomen's twin brother ! Just go ask LadyWendy.

Well, the water could represent what you said i suppose, I just think that the strips gave an idea of having to make a choice or important decsion, which could lead to freedom, maybe if she had a dream where she carried on down towards the sea and eventually came upon an open sea with no strips could mean she had found freedom, and made the right choice.
(this stuff is really interesting actually , methinks I'll be here for a bit.)
